This is a nice clean country store and deli on old Highway 99 serving the country folk between Rogue River and Gold Hill. There are a few tables outside and some inside. My cheeseburger with tomato, pickles and lettuce was good as were the crinkle-cut fries. A filling meal for $7.75.

Stopped at this little gem and ordered the fish n chips on special. Both the fish and tarter sauce were fabulous. We passed on the chips - but from what we saw we certainly missed out. I wish we had more time in the area. We stopped by a couple times and they were closed due to air conditioning issues, which may be outside the owners control, but it did require 3 trips before we could finally visit.

I love their broccoli salad! And their grilled cheese with tilamook cheddar. Every now and then on a weekend, if I feel like indulging, I like their bacon/egg breakfast with biscuit/ gravy. Very naughty- and very good!

Great local spot. Always clean. Friendly staff. We love checking the bulletin board outside for new announcements and local info. My family enjoys going there for ice cream after dinner in the evenings during the summer. My kids have started riding their bikes there by themselves. We love the meatloaf. Excellent local charm!
